Picnic with the Ponies! April 26, 2026 11:30-2:30pm
This special afternoon celebration welcomes friends, families, and neighbors to experience the work happening at Gateway HorseWorks while enjoying a relaxed spring day at the farm. Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations from our treatment teams showing how Gateway HorseWorks incorporates horses for the mental health treatment of people. These demonstrations will offer a window into our trauma-informed approach and the powerful role horses play in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, grief, and more. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at life in the barn as our expert barn manager demonstrates how we care for our incredible herd, sharing the daily routines and practices that keep our horses healthy, happy, and ready for their important work. This is a picnic-style afternoon, so bring your blankets and camping chairs, settle in on the grass, and enjoy the beauty of the farm.
