This equine program supports participants in gaining a deeper self-understanding and can be a powerful experience in a family’s grief process.
None of the interaction with the horses includes riding or horsemanship. All of the activities are unmounted. No previous horse experience necessary.
Closed toed shoes are required. Please dress appropriately for the weather, the arena is neither heated nor air-conditioned.

*Grief Reach is a program, by Penn Wissahickon Hospice’s David Bradley Children’s Bereavement Program, that is specifically designed for families in the 2nd and 3rd years following the death of a loved one. It is based on families joining together and having fun in shared experiences four times a year.
