Strategic Giving
There are many ways to give meaningfully to Gateway HorseWorks' mission and vision. While cash and check contributions are some of the most common ways to give, the following options are additional strategies that can provide longstanding impact and sustained fiscal viability for our organization.
Make A Pledge:
Meaningful contributions don't always come all at once. Another impactful way to give is by making a pledge to donate in the future. This helps our organization plan and scale our events and services, while allowing your organization, company, foundation, or family to give when it makes the most financial sense.
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) :
Eligible IRA owners age 70½ or over have the option to transfer up to $100,000 to charity tax-free each year through a Qualified Charitable Distribution. QCDs offer eligible older Americans a great way to easily give to charity before the end of the year. Moreover, for those who are at least 72, QCDs count toward the IRA owner's required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
Any eligible IRA owner who wishes to make a QCD should contact their IRA trustee to complete the transaction.
